Alina Matutes-Eckhardt

Alina Matutes-Eckhardt,
RN, MSN, FNP Family Nurse Practitioner

Alina Matutes-Eckhardt was born in Havana, Cuba and immigrated to the US in 1968.  She has lived in the San Antonio area ever since.  Alina received her nursing education at the UTHSCSA School of Nursing.  She has been a registered nurse since 1987 and became a nurse practitioner in 1996.  Alina has spent many years working with under-insured and uninsured patients and currently specializes in the care of patients with cardiovascular disease.
